
Returns and Refunds
We have a 7 day return policy. Meaning you have 7 days from the date your order arrives to request a return.
To be eligible for a return your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, unread and in its original packaging. You will also need a receipt or proof of purchase.

If your returns request is accepted, you'll be required to post the item at your own expense. You will be given instructions on how and where to send your package. If you send an item to use without first requesting a return, it will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
please inspect your item as soon as you receive it and contact us if it is defective, damaged or you received the wrong item. The quicker you contact us, the sooner we can fix any issues.
Any damaged items require a clear photograph of the damage on the item, and the packaging it arrived in. The shipping label must be included and must be clearly photographed.
Damaged Book Guidelines
Books that qualify as DAMAGED
- A tear/rip/cut or visible scratch on the front of the book/dust jacket or spine larger than 1cm
- Residue or marks on the front or spine that cannot be removed and are larger than 1cm.
- Dents or crushed edges bigger than 1cm
- More than one ripped or bent page that affects the text on the pages
- Production defects (such as a missing page)
Books that DO NOT qualify as damaged
- Light scratches, marks or residue on the back of the book/dust jacket
- Scratches or unevenly sprayed edges
- Small white spots or scratches on sprayed edges, bleeding onto pages, or issues with the top or bottom edge of the book
- Minimal creasing on top or bottom of the book spine, dust jacket, or corners.
- Wavy pages
- Ripped or damaged blank pages
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, change of mind, or special orders*.

Exchanges
The quickest way to ensure you get what you want is to return your item, and then once it is accepted, make a new, separate order for the item you desire.
Refunds
You will be notified once we've received and inspected your return, and we will let you know if your return was approved or not. If approved, you'll automatically be refunded via your ORIGINAL payment method within 10 working days. Please remember, it can take some time for your bank to clear a payment, especially if there is a bank holiday. If more than 15 days have passed and you still have not received your refund, please contact us at admin@moonlitchapters.co.uk
