With so many amazing Indie romances out there it can be a bit overwhelming. So we decided to create the Book of the Month Club. Where every month we choose an Indie Romance book so you don't have to. We do all the hard work, we research not only the book but also the author to make sure they align with our values here at MCB (no AI here!) and then we read the book, to make sure the book is as good as it sounds. Once its passed the vibe check, its ready to be posted for you to enjoy.
How does it work?
💜Each month on our socials we will give you teasers for the book. you'll get hints on the genre and tropes as well as some more creative clues.
💜The book will be brand new to the store and will either be a brand new release, a book that has been making the rounds for a few years or be a book from a Debut author.
💜The book will be available all month,and then once the month is up, it will be replaced with the next months pick
💜There will be a limited amount of copies up for grabs
💜You can then treat the book as a new addition to your tbr pile and read it whenever you have the time. Or you can join the readalong on our community discord.
Is this sort of like a book club?
Yes and no.
The book of the month is whatever you want it to be. You can treat it as a way to find new Indie authors, a way to grow your tbr pile (we wont judge) or you can join our community discord and join the readalong and treat it as an mini book club read.
The main focus of BOTMC is to get you reading more Indie books in a way that fits your life. Reading shouldn't be about bookclub deadlines or feeling guilty that you didn't manage to read the book that month. It should be something you enjoy and get excited about. So how you treat your BOTM is completely up to you 💌
