Connect and Create Festivals
Being a Bookstore, and a bookstore in the South west, it is very hard to find markets that fit. We were lucky enough to grab a few spots at the 10 year anniversary of the Connect and Create Markets in Barnstaple.
It was our First in person event and we loved getting to talk all about romance with everyone who stopped by! It was also very amusing to see a fair few men get caught off guard by our niche selection and smutty little extras (the penis bookmarks got a fair few giggles!)
Moonlit Cocktail night!
This was such a fun night! We were so lucky to meet a fantastic small business owner at one of the connect and create markets which led to a fabulous collab!
Not only did we host a night of cocktails and bookish chat, but we also had a amazing local author come and read a excerpt of one of her books and answer all your questions! She then went to pretty much sell out of all her books and we also saw so many of you leave with some brand new romances to dive into!
Bristol Indie Author Event
This was out first official book event and also one of the first to happen in the South West!
It was such a great turn out and we had a blast meeting some amazing readers. So many of you came up to say Hi and that you recognised us from socials! It was very surreal to have people say "OMG! I follow you on Instagram!"
